Jordan Collins is an independent artist from Spokane, WA. Her interest in music began at a young age. She wrote songs and poems as a child, dreaming of becoming a singer. She started playing guitar at 18, taking a few months of lessons followed by a couple years of vocal lessons. Her inspiration stemmed from underground Youtube artists such as Kate McGill, Lights, and Gabrielle Aplin. Jordan started playing shows in her hometown, meanwhile working with Sean Burgett in his home studio to release two full length albums Alchemy (2012) and Sun Tracing (2015).
Focusing on expanding her horizons, Jordan now travels around North America and Europe, playing shows, writing new music, and touring with her album Compartmentalize, released November 6th (2017). After connecting with Matt Novesky from Blue October, Jordan and Matt worked together to create Compartmentalize. The sound is raw like her previous release, but with a new dark edge, heavy mood and deep lyrics. You can download the album for free HERE. She is currently working on a new concept album, to be released in Spring (2019) which will be followed by another summer tour.
